Global Specialised Services (GSS) has opened a new £1.5 million (US$2.2m) 2,800sq metre logistics centre in Cardiff, Wales.
The new logistics centre is located at Trident Park and it is eight times the size of GSS’s previous facility.
GSS said the centre would allow it to take complete control of customers’ logistics operations, including pick and pack, warehousing, distribution and track and trace.
The facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art security system that will allow customers to access a CCTV system to monitor their goods remotely.
The centre was officially opened by Nick Bourne, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, who was joined by director of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, Graham Morgan, and Welsh logistics industry professionals.
