Siemens signs-up with DHL

Joint effort to make trucks even smarter

Electronics manufacturer Siemens has become a partner of DHL’s Innovation Initiative and will support the operator with state-of-the-art technologies and know-how.

Siemens and DHL want to improve the performance of SmartTruck, a delivery vehicle used by DHL in Berlin, by using intelligent traffic management systems as part of its route planning.

Stefan Keh, Head of Infrastructure Logistics at Siemens Mobility, said: “We look forward to helping Deutsche Post DHL make its vision a reality by leveraging our technological innovations.”
