Geodis teams up with Cremonini
JV to handle catering logistics for SNCF
Geodis and Cremonini, a specialist in chilled supply chains, have been awarded a six-year contract by French state railway SNCF to handle catering logistics for its high-speed TGV train services from March.
The contract, estimated to be worth €30m per year, will be operated by a joint-venture company, Avirail, and includes logistics services for all national TGV on-board catering services (except the TGV-East route), as well as the Lyria service linking Paris and Geneva.
