Warehouse Manager

Our client, a global supply chain management solutions provider, is well aware of the importance of an effective supply chain - one that puts the right quantity of product in the right place at the right time.  They offer a broad range of services to meet their clients’ on-time delivery needs, including consolidation, pooling and cross docking.  They are experienced in working within a wide range of industries and have the capability to handle all types of freight. We have been tasked with identifying a Warehouse Manager for one of their bonded sites at Heathrow.  This is the ideal opportunity for someone from a similar type of background to join an experienced management team within a company that relies on the expertise of its staff to offer a first class service. The successful candidate will be an excellent people manager (warehouse and office); the type of individual who will encourage, motivate and develop staff to ensure they fulfill their full potential. You will have an awareness of the wider range of our client’s activities but your overall responsibility will be the day to day management of the warehouse; experience in ISO, AEO, HMRC & DfT compliance; budget including procurement for consumables and waste; controlling the fleet of forklifts and overseeing the maintenance of the warehouse.  You will have excellent communication skills; be good at dealing with clients and managing their SOPs; and have the ability to interact with people at all levels within the business.
