Davies Turner adds new UK-Poland service
Davies Turner has added twice weekly door-to-door services between the UK-Poland in partnership with Hellmann Worldwide.
The direct door-to-door service will depart from Davies Turner’s main regional distribution centres in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Dartford on Tuesday and Friday.
Philip Stephenson, chairman of Davies Turner, said: “According to Central Statistical Office statistics, at a certain point in 2009 Poland was the only EU country to experience a positive GDP growth rate, year on year.
“In a pragmatic response to that fact, we have teamed up with Hellmann Worldwide in Poland to further develop and strengthen our presence in this key trade.”
Users of the service will also be able to track and trace the progress of their shipments through to final delivery in real time.
