Norbert Dentressangle has been appointed to handle national warehousing and distribution for award-winning UK brewery Black Sheep.

ND stepped into the breach following the collapse of Black Sheep’s previous service provider, transferring product from a warehouse in Barnsley and starting operations at Buxton within two weeks, maintaining an uninterrupted service to the brewery’s customers.

Jo Theakston, head of sales for Black Sheep Brewery said: “The speed and efficiency with which Norbert Dentressangle reacted to an extremely urgent requirement was most impressive.”

ND is storing around 140,000 bottles of beer at its 45,000sq metre bonded distribution centre in Buxton. Orders are picked and trunked into its national shared-user network for distribution to retailers.
