Jesper Praestensgaard
Additional member of Hapag-Lloyd Executive Board and new Chief Commercial Officer
Hapag-Lloyd’s Supervisory Board has appointed Jesper Praestensgaard as an additional member of its Executive Board and as its new Chief Commercial Officer.
Praestensgaard will join the Executive Board from 1 January 2011 and as Chief Commercial Officer, he will be responsible for marketing and sales.
Praestensgaard has over 20 years of experience in liner shipping. He worked in various senior positions for Maersk Line, most recently as Singapore-based CEO Asia Pacific Region with responsibility for all liner shipping activities in SE Asia as well as Australia/New Zealand.
