Hanjin Shipping is to launch a direct service between Asia and Mexico next week to meet growing cargo demand
Five 5,500teu vessels will be deployed weekly and will call at Shanghai-Kwangyang-Busan-Long Beach-Manzanillo-Ensenada.
Hanjin said demand for a direct service was expected to show continuous growth, and build the line a stronger presence in the market, as well as bring the potential for the line to diversify its cargo portfolio from Asia to the US south-west.
