The Goodman Group plans to build a new logistics hub over 5sq km on the outskirts of Beijing over the next five to seven years.

The logistics property developer already has investments in four logistics centres in Shanghai and the surrounding Yangtze Delta region, via the Goodman China Logistics Holding fund, an 80-20 joint-venture with Canadian pension fund CPPIB.

Goodman is already the largest owner of warehousing and logistics properties in Hong Kong where it manages more than 800,000sq metres.
