DHL Supply Chain and Yusen Air & Sea Services are to lease around 60,000sq metres of Goodman’s landmark Interlink warehouse development in Hong Kong.

Goodman said it was also in negotiations with other international logistics players over capacity equivalent to 77% of the 222,000sq metre Interlink site, due to open in January 2012.

Goodman yesterday hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for Interlink, located in Hong Kong’s strategically important Tsing Yi port district.

The HK$4bn (US$500m) distribution area is one of the largest industrial development projects in the world and one of the first major new Hong Kong warehouse projects in nearly a decade.
