Cool new trailers for Asda
Side-skirts will boost new equipment's green credentials
Retail giant Asda has taken delivery of 150 new refrigerated trailers from manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull.
The dual-temperature trailers are fitted with carrier fridges and, because of environmental concerns, side-skirts to improve aerodynamics, thus improving fuel efficiency.
The trailers will operate out of Asda’s regional distribution centres at Skelmersdale, Falkirk, Erith, Bedford, Lutterworth, Wakefield and Bristol.
