Meet the IFW Team:

Kizzi Nkwocha, Editor

Fergus has a decade of experience selling advertising in, and managing, business-to-business publications and websites in a variety of industries and sectors. As a salesman, Fergus has helped provide promotional solutions for clients ranging from international and blue-chip companies to emerging players. As a publisher, Fergus has successfully spearheaded the business side of the developments with IFW and Lloyds Loading List.

A journalist for almost 40 years, David has worked on numerous newspapers and magazines, including a spell as Deputy Editor of Film Review and as Press and Publicity Officer for EMI Films and the Variety Club of Great Britain. He joined the IFW team in 1997 and has also served as Production Manager for several of its sister publications.

Working closely with and understanding my customers business allows me to offer tailored marketing solutions that deliver results. I am experienced in working with digital media, lending IFW's advertisers valuable knowledge of engaging an audience on a digital platform to make your marketing campaigns more effective.

I have been writing for IFW for three years, having previously contributed to a range of newspapers, magazines and online news sites across varied subjects. I have a degree in journalism and have also had articles published in IFW's sister publications Lloyd's List, Lloyd's Loading List and Cargo Systems. I began my IFW career as shipping reporter but at the beginning of 2009 I was promoted to chief reporter, covering all areas of the freight and cargo industry.

Katerina started her career writing for Hazardous Cargo Bulletin, specialising in the tank storage industry. After two years she made a move to Lloyd's Loading List where she began writing for the UK-based freighting industry. Whilst continuing to write for LLL, Katerina has become the newest addition to the IFW editorial team.

Mike has been covering the freight and shipping markets for almost 15 years. Prior to his move to Asia in 2008, he served as editor of a string of leading maritime, transport and commodities titles. He was also IFW's deputy editor between 2000 and 2002. Prior to his career in journalism, Mike helped run his family's forwarding and trucking business.

Isabel has been writing for the freighting industry for nearly five years. Before joining the IFW team in 2005, she wrote for Flight Daily News, Flight International's daily newspaper covering all the international air shows. She has also worked on magazines for the oil and gas, construction, medical and legal sectors.

Magda joined the IFW team in early 2010 just as the title was making the transition to an online news service. Specialising in digital marketing, Magda has contributed to IFW's online success story and continues to bring fresh ideas to the IFW team. Magda is also responsible for marketing IFW's sister publications: Lloyd's Loading List, Cargo Systems, Containerisation International.
